THE NAME IS BOND

Shane Bond's 5-23 in 9.3 overs (including 4 top-middle order wickets) annihilated Australia in the series opener of the Chappell-Hadlee Trophy in Wellington in 2007. The visitors were routed for 148 and New Zealand went on to win by 10 wickets. It remains Bond's second-highest impact bowling performance of his ODI career.

SHOULD HOME PITCHES BE DOCTORED OR NOT?

Eventually, don’t both teams have to bat/bowl on the same surface twice? It’s not like the advantage lies with just one team.

Soham
I agree that both teams are required to bat/bowl twice on the same track but it would be naïve to say that the day on which they do is inconsequential.
